Mr. Fernando is a Fellow member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of United Kingdom. He has been awarded a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 1992.
He holds Directorship in Addison (Pvt) Ltd and HealthCey (Pvt) Ltd also serving as a non-executive Director of Hatton National Bank PLC and Consultant - Strategy of Melstacorp PLC
He served as the Executive Director of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Limited from 2003 to 2009 and held Board positions in companies in sectors of Food & beverage, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Telecommunications, Finance, Asset Management, and in Unit Trusts.

Prasanna Karunanayake BSc (Eng.), MBCSDirector

Prasanna has been with Melstacorp since 2011, when he joined as Group Head of IT. Since the beginning of 2016, he has been Group Chief Information Officer for Melstacorp. Prior to joining the group, he was at Asia Securities (Senior Manager Information Technology), Serendib Flour Mills (Manager – Information and Communication Technology), and DMS Software Technologies (Senior Oracle Applications Consultant). He specializes in ICT management, ICT Consulting, Oracle EBS consulting, ERP Consulting and Management Accountancy.

Cleetus Mallawaarachchi FCA, FCMA, MBADirector

Cleetus had 17 years of work experience at companies such as KPMG Ford Rhodes Thornton & Co., Trelleborg Lanka (Pvt) Limited, Eureka Online (Pvt) Limited, Growth Lanka (Pvt) Limited, Naja David Group and Andrew Cross & Co. prior to joining the Melstacorp group as Group Financial Controller in 2007. He specializes in auditing, financial reporting, finance, accounting and financial analysis.
